Since arriving in the Dayton area in 2018, Ramirez has continued to immerse himself in the music scene of southwest Ohio. Over the past seven years, Ramirez has been developing a reputation as a drummer playing in various ensembles with Keigo Hirakawa, Kathy Wade, Connor Smith, Mike Wade, and many others. You can catch him live at locations such as Wholly Grounds in Dayton, Ginger Rabbit in Columbus, Mother
Stewart's Brewery located in Springfield, or down at Caffe Vivace, Schwart's Point, and Ghost Baby in Cincinnati.

Having taught privately for the last decade, Ramirez has students that have gone on to study music at the collegiate level at Cleveland State University and Loyola University in New Orleans.

Ramirez has studied/worked with the likes of George Robinson, Francisco Mela (McCoy Tyner, Joe Lovano, Esperanza Spalding) and Bob Gullotti (The Fringe, J. J. Johnson, Joe Lovano, John Patitucci) & Scott Mullet (Glenn Miller, Woody Herman, Tony Bennett, Aretha Franklin).
